WebAug 31, 2016 · The central locking switch was working. The key fobs were working to turn the car on and drive. There weren't any other noticeable issues. Just that the fobs weren't locking or unlocking the doors, the blade had to be used. So I joined and searched these forums and elsewhere to see how to re-sync.

Its usually ok to disconnect the battery. as long as ignition is off, usually no problems. if there were a lot of errors, only thing I can think off, was battery was disconnected with the ignition on, causes every module to go into error/fault. glad you got it sorted and hope it was not too expensive to sort.
