Usually petroleum and crude oil are the culprits. If this is the case, try increasing the amount of petroleum and crude oil build a draining system that doesn't let either layer lose too much mass. Their old range was certainly the default -30C to 70C - I checked more than twice. Looks like that was fixed, as many slicksters were spawning in environments well over 100C then quickly heating up and dying.
