WebI have been collecting for the PlayStation 2 for a while now, and recently I discovered a nice gem, Darkwatch! This game is bad ass! The game is a FPS with kind of a Halo feel to it. It has a horror theme going on: monsters, vampires, vampire horses, blood, gore and other good stuff that makes the game metal as hell! The controls are pretty good. WebAug 16, 2005 · One of my favorite PS2 games of all time. I love the Gothic Western art direction and enemy & weapon variety. If you have played any modern t shooters, going back to Darkwatch will be a little clunky at first. I had a lot of fun playing this in couch co-op back in the day too. It's hard to believe this gem will be 14 years old in 5 days. WebDarkwatch on the PS2 was developed side-by-side with the Xbox version according to the wikipedia page. I think in this instance they'll work with a similar base game of some kind and make adjustments from there as needed for performance purposes. Textures for example were likely reduced going in on PS2 because of the normal/bump map limitations.
